It was a day-long event that witnessed participation from over 70 distinguished speakers and a high-powered, 50-member Smart Cities Trade Mission led by Bruce Andrews, Deputy Secretary, US Department of Commerce. More than 40 mayors, commissioners and urban officials from India interacted with over 300 delegates who attended the event. Smart Cities Council India hosts National Conclave on Smart Technologies

The Smart Cities Council India in association with the Telangana government hosted the National Conclave on Smart Technologies at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre on 22-23 August, 2015. International and national experts on technologies and smart cities along with urban development officials from across India – constituting 600 cities covering the 100 smart cities and 500 AMRUT cities – partcipated in the Conclave. The Union Minister for Urban Development of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu and IT Minister, Telangana, KT Rama Rao were the guests of honour. Read more.
